Congratulations to Mamelodi Sundowns and Our Client Khuliso Mudau — Sundowns Book Their Spot in the 2025/26 CAF Champions League Final
Mamelodi Sundowns have once again demonstrated their dominance on the African stage, qualifying for the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League final for the second consecutive season.
On Saturday, 18 April 2026, the Brazilians secured a composed 1-0 victory over Espérance Sportive de Tunis at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria. This result completed a 2-0 aggregate triumph over the Tunisian giants, with Brayan León's first-half strike proving decisive after his earlier goal in the first leg in Tunis.
The victory sends Sundowns into the final, where they will face Moroccan side AS FAR Rabat in a two-legged showdown. The first leg is scheduled for 15 May 2026 in Pretoria, with the return fixture set for 24 May 2026 in Rabat.
A special shoutout goes to our client and Sundowns defender Khuliso Mudau, who played a key role in the campaign. Known for his consistency and attacking contributions from the right-back position, Mudau has been instrumental in helping Masandawana reach yet another continental final. His commitment and performances continue to make him a vital part of the team's success both domestically and in Africa.
This marks Sundowns' fourth appearance in the CAF Champions League final in their history — a testament to their sustained excellence under coach Miguel Cardoso.
