FC Ongos have completed the signing of promising young South African defender Lyema Dopolo from SuperSport United.

The 21-year-old centre-back joins the Namibian Premier League side on a free transfer as Ongos continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Dopolo, who stands at approximately 184cm tall, spent time in the SuperSport United setup where he developed as a composed and physical central defender. He previously captained youth teams and showed strong leadership qualities during his time at Matsatsantsa.

This move represents a fresh opportunity for the talented defender to gain regular first-team football in the Debmarine Namibia Premiership and establish himself as a key player for Ongos FC.

Ongos Sports Club, based in Windhoek, have been active in the transfer market, signing several new players as they look to challenge at the top of the Namibian league.
